Photo Guidelines

To help us create the best possible portrait, we recommend the following:

  • Choose a close-up photo of your pet so we can clearly see their unique features and personality.
  • Get down to your pet's eye level when taking the picture. Photos taken at eye level typically produce the best results.
  • Standing or sitting poses usually work best. Whenever possible, avoid photos where your pet is lying down.
  • Good lighting makes a big difference. Natural outdoor daylight is ideal and helps showcase your pet's details more clearly.
  • Make sure your photo is clear, sharp, and not blurry.

We regularly create memorial portraits for pets who have crossed the rainbow bridge, so we understand that sometimes only a few photos are available. Even if your image doesn't meet every recommendation above, there's a good chance we can still create a portrait you'll love.
