Shipping and Returns
Most artworks are completed within 2–3 days of placing your order.
Once your artwork has been approved, we'll print and ship your order within 1–2 days.
Estimated Delivery Times:
United States: 2–5 business days from the date your order ships.
International Orders: 5–10 business days from the date your order ships.
Shipping Rates:
• Free U.S. shipping on orders over $100
• Orders under $100 ship within the U.S. for a flat rate of $10
• Orders shipping to the UK, Canada, and Australia are charged a flat rate of $10
We currently ship to the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Australia, and select European countries.
Important Production & Shipping Information
Please note that if there is an issue with your order—such as needing a different pet photo—your production timeline may be extended while we wait for updated information.
Before printing, we send every customer an artwork preview for approval. The sooner we receive your approval, the sooner we can move your order into production and shipment.
All orders are shipped with tracking. As soon as your tracking information becomes available, it will be sent to you by email.
During the holiday season, shipping carriers experience significantly higher parcel volumes. As a result, delivery times may be longer than usual.
Please Note
• We occasionally offer Skip the Line as an optional upgrade. This service moves your pet photo to the front of our artists' queue, allowing your artwork to be completed sooner. It does not speed up shipping or courier delivery times.
• If we need to request a new pet photo for your order, please understand that this will naturally increase the overall production time.
• Customers are given up to 3 days (72 hours) to review and approve their artwork proof. If we do not receive a response within 72 hours, your artwork will be automatically approved and sent to print.

Is my photo good enough to use?
If you've followed our Photo Guide, there's a very good chance your photo will work perfectly for your portrait.
For the best results, we recommend:
- Taking the photo in good lighting (natural daylight is ideal)
- Capturing your pet at eye level whenever possible
- Using a close-up photo that clearly shows your pet's unique features
- Avoiding blurry or low-quality images
Every order is reviewed by our team after it's placed. If we believe a different photo would produce a better portrait, we'll contact you promptly by email.

Do you only create portraits for cats and dogs?
No! We can create custom portraits for any animal, regardless of species or breed.
Over the years, we've created portraits featuring dogs, cats, birds, horses, micro-pigs, hedgehogs, and many other beloved pets.
Our artists are experienced at working with all types of animals and will create a portrait that captures your pet's unique personality.
Can I include more than one pet in my portrait?
Absolutely!
We offer One Pet Portraits, Two Pet Portraits, Three Pet Portraits, and Four Pet Portraits.
If you'd like to include more than four pets in a single portrait, please contact our support team at info@portraitandpaws.com and we'll be happy to assist.
What if I need to make changes to my order?
We're happy to help with order changes whenever possible. To request a modification, please contact info@portraitandpaws.com within 12 hours of placing your order.
After the first 12 hours, most changes—including shipping address updates—may no longer be possible.
Please note that making changes to an order can occasionally result in additional processing time.
Can I preview my portrait before it is printed?
Yes!
Once your portrait has been completed, we'll send you an email with your artwork preview.
You'll have 3 days to either approve the design or request revisions.
If we don't hear back from you within those 3 days, we'll assume the artwork has been approved and will move forward with printing.
We're proud to offer unlimited free revisions, giving you peace of mind that you'll love your portrait before it goes to print.
